Nayel Bettache

I joined the SDS faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor in August 2024. I hold a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, advised by Cristina Butucea. 

My research delves into the foundational aspects of mathematical statistics and machine learning, placing a special emphasis on crafting practical and efficient learning methods with provable theoretical guarantees. I am particularly interested in time series, random matrices and high-dimensional problems.
