Cornell's Department of Statistics and Data Science offers four programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduates can earn a BA in statistical science, social statistics, or biometry and statistics, while the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Data Science and Applied Statistics offers students the opportunity to earn a professional master's degree to help them specialize and deepen their study in statistics prior to advancing in a career. The MS/PhD program in Statistics and Data Science prepares students for a research career in academia or industry.

Each semester, the Department of Statistics and Data Science hosts seminars on statistics topics that would be of interest to students in a variety of disciplines. Please check our Events page often for updates.
