Jannat-Khak is an Assistant Scientist at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), and an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Masters of Science in Public Health in Epidemiology and received my Doctorate in Public Health from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. Her educational background is in epidemiology and she has a broad background in various biostatistical methods including analysis of large administrative datasets, survival analysis, machine learning methods (LASSO, random forest, random survival forest, classification and regression trees, etc), meta-analyses, hierarchical models and qualitative analyses.
