Statistics is the fastest growing undergraduate major among the STEM fields - Science Technology Engineering and Math - the American Statistical Association (ASA) reports. The number of students graduating with undergraduate statistics degrees has grown by 95% in the last four years.
According to the report, "The ASA analyzed data compiled by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) on 160 STEM bachelor’s degree categories granted by U.S. public and nonprofit colleges and universities. Degree categories with a minimum of 200 completions in 2013 were included in the analysis."
