Cornell University's Department of Statistical Science hosts the Day of Statistics on Friday, September 8, 2017, gathering together leaders in the field to share insights and discoveries. Plan to join us this Fall.

Registration is closed for the 2017 Day of Statistics.

The conference will take place at the Statler Hotel in the J. Willard Marriott Executive Education Center (Breakfast & Refreshments will be served in the Conference Foyer; Talks will be in the Amphitheater).

9:05 to 10:15 a.m. – Presention of the Distinguished Alumni Award by Bruce Turnbull (2016 award recipient) to this year's recipient, Charles McCulloch, (Statistics PhD ’80), who will follow with his talk "small thoughts on Big Data".
