How to Affiliate with the Statistics Major

Statistical Science (B.A.) Affiliation Procedures

1. Familiarize yourself with the requirements for affiliation with the major. If you have completed the prerequisites for affiliation, then you are ready to apply.  
2. To apply to the Statistical Science major, please visit https://affiliations.coecis.cornell.edu/sds/ 
3. Submit your application.  You will be notified via email about your application and if we have any questions. If accepted to the major, you will be assigned a faculty advisor.
4. STSCI/BTRY majors are expected keep current on matters affecting the major.  Although the Department of Statistics and Data Science will monitor your progress toward the completion of your major requirements, you are responsible for monitoring your college-level requirements.
